One of the benefits of living in the KenBrink area is our wonderful trees. However, trees and bushes can easily compromise your security. Trees and overhanging branches can give access to properties, while branches can make your electric fence ineffective.
Following the burglaries in April and again in May, an audit of trees in the suburb was conducted. In total we have identified 36 trees that can be used to gain entry to properties. In addition, a number of trees that have grown through electric fences rendering them inoperable.
The KRA has approached Leopard Tree Felling, a local tree feller in the suburb. Sean has offered substantially discounted rates to residents to correct these problems.
An email will be going out to residents whose trees have been identified as a security risk. Sean from Leopard Tree Felling will be contacting residents and providing a no obligation quote to correct the problems identified.
